Children (see Goût des plumes) don’t have a monopoly on strange obsessions. Enter collector, historian, archivist Bill Jamieson, a self-described collector of the macabre. Prent’s roving camera takes us into Jamieson’s personal museum of the arcane, where we get Jamieson’s first-person account of his morbid holdings, a meeting place of the historical and the artistic (including the disturbing work of the filmmaker’s sculptor-father Mark Prent).
