The End is Already Here, 18 Days Go by Fast Indeed
Première mondiale du film Bon Cop Bad Cop Une troisème représentation du film Re-cycle s'est ajoutée au programme
Today, the 10th edition of Fantasia Film Festival is brought to an end. Do not be sad because the festival still has a last evening emotionally filled and charged with quality movies.
You can see the continuity of the 2-part program, Vive le Court Libre: Quebec Shorts Block 2, shown in the J.A. De Sève room at 17h. Get ready to dive into the heart of an upsetting, funny, perverse, poetic, and absurd universe; the one that emerges from the imagination of only a handful of Quebec moviemakers who share with us their fantasies, their fears, their passions and their unique take on the world.
Following strong requests, the latest picture by the Pang brothers, Re-Cycle, will be shown twice today, that is, 17h30 at the Hall Theater and 21h30 J.A. De Sève. This is an excellent opportunity to see this movie, since before its first showing last night, Re-Cycle was shown at Cannes Festival and at Hong Kong only.
The night will end with two premieres. At 19h30, you will be able to see the Japanese movie, Zombie Self-Defense Force. It will be shown for the first time in North America. Finally, the festival is very proud to present the closing movie for this year, Bon Cop Bad Cop, coming out on August 4th. The director and Honorary President, Erik Canuel, will be there to present his sold-out movie.
