The Descendant de Philippe Spurrell a conquis les spectateurs présents

Surely, one of Fantasia’s big surprises of 2006, Philippe Spurrell’s The Descendant has won over the audience at the screening on Thursday night, and even received a standing ovation. Mostly known until now as one of Fantasia’s coordinator, special effects specialist and the voice on Flat’N’Fluffy, he has proven himself as a young promising director last night. Many members of the cast accompanied him for the Q&A, where he imparted the crowd with a few anecdotes about creativeness on set. We hope that the final 35mm copy of The Descendant will be shown in Montreal when it will be over around the end of October.

Those who have missed out on the first projection of Subject Two have a second chance to see the movie in the good company of Phillip Chidel.
