Never Two Without Three for Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon
Necromancer, première projection à guichet fermé. Strange Circus, présence du réalisateur Sion Sono
On todays program: special international guest, canadian premiere, book launch, rare 35mm archival print, topped off with many reruns.
Fantasia Film Festival is offering you a chance to see, or to see again, the great A Chinese Tall Story, the popular Necromancer (the first showing was sold out), the very out of the ordinary Funky Forest : The First Contact, or even the rare pearl that is White Of The Eye. Following two sold out shows of the very impressive Behind the Mask: the Rise of Leslie Vernon, the programmers of the festival decided to offer you a final chance to discover the film, tonight at 22h at J.A. De Sève.
The winner of the Jury Prize for Best Feature at Fantasporto Film Festival in 2006, Frostbite will be showed as a canadian premiere, as will Strange Circus, by director Sion Sono, who also brought you the unforgettable Suicide Club in 1999. In addition to attending the canadian premiere, the audience will have the chance to ask questions once the movie is over, since Sono will be present for the event.
Earlier this week, FAB Press and Sam Umland passed by the festival for the launching of the book, Donald Cammell: A Life on the Wild Side. They will be present once again at the room J.A. De Sève to answer any questions you have and to autograph some books.
