Opening Party at S.A.T.  photo: Pierre Roussel photo: Pierre RousselThe opening party for the 2006 edition of Fantasia Film Festival was held at S.A.T., where the surroundings consisted of an orgy of images and sounds. Dandi Wind and her very energetic singer, Sixtoo Jan Pienkowski, DJ Cherry Cola and DJ Chevy Van provided sound waves that shook the room and made people dance while Euterke, VJ Pillow, VJ Mademoiselle and Thisisnotdesign gave the numerous visitors something to look at with their showy projections. Swedish twin contortionists and acrobat, Virginie Le flaouter, all from the National Circus School, also gave impressive performances. To top everything off, three sumptuous illustrations by Heidi Taillefer, 2006 Fantasia poster illustrator, were hung for our visual pleasure.
