The Descent

Seven Swords

The crowd was excited and ready to go at the opening of the tenth edition of the Fantasia festival. Érik Canuel, the festival’s Honorary President, came to give a big warm welcome to the courageous moviegoers. However, it was André Dubois, one of the festival’s founders, who kicked off this tenth edition.

The programmers decided to start big and hit the public with The Descent from England, written and directed by Neil Marshall, and brought to us by the British Council. Seven Swords, sponsored by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Canada), was premiered in Montreal last night.
