The Official Opening of the Tenth Edition of Fantasia

The tenth edition of Fantasia starts tonight

Tonight is the official roll-out of the Fantasia Film Festival 10th edition. The event starts at 7 p.m. with our opening film, The Descent, directed by Neil Marshall, presented in collaboration with the British Council. This presentation is part of our tribute to the British cinema's new wave of genre cinema. At 9.30 p.m. we will unleash Tsui Hark's acclaimed Seven Swords. This film is officially presented by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Canada).

Tonight, the festival will also hold its opening party at the S.A.T. (La Société des arts technologiques - 1195 St-Laurent Boulevard –St-Laurent Metro station). Music, dance, shows, DJs, Vjs and even contortionists from l'école du cirque de Montréal.
